Head of Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration Mehdi Mirashrafi says 220 companies have been identified in the country to cross the green route and the number of authorized companies will increase in the near future.

(SHADA: TEHRAN) -- At the meeting of the Resistance Economy Command Headquarters held in Razavi Khorasan Province, Mirashrafi said: In the past seven months, millions of dollars of goods have been cleared in the customs of Razavi Khorasan province and if this quantity of goods is to be cleared by traditional methods, our foreign trade will be slow.

The world has moved from tangible and intrusive controls to intangible and non-intrusive controls, and one of the things that can help this direction is to equip customs with X-ray rail scanning; while visiting Doogaroon Customs, I noticed that there are two X-ray scanners in this customs, one of which is defective; Of the other three customs, only one is not equipped with scanner, and one requires X-ray rail scanning equipment.

220 companies have been identified in the country to cross the green route and the number of authorized companies will increase in the near future, he added.
